The story so far.

Most meme tokens invent a story. GAMESTONK inherited one - arguably the best origin story in markets - and then did something genuinely clever with a liquidity pool.

Act one: the meme that made the chain

January 2021: GameStop's stock became the most famous trade of the retail era, and Robinhood - the app at the centre of it - became inseparable from the word "stonks". Five years later, in July 2026, Robinhood launched its own blockchain with tokenised stocks trading 24/7. Among them: GME itself, reborn as an onchain token. The irony was sitting there, waiting for someone to pick it up.

Act two: the launch

Verified: GAMESTONK was launched through the StonkBrokers Stonklauncher on Robinhood Chain and completed its bonding curve - meaning its liquidity graduated into a locked pool, per the launcher's standard mechanics. The token is a fixed-supply ERC-20 of exactly one billion, and its pair went live in late August 2026.

The masterstroke is the quote asset. Verified on-chain: GAMESTONK's main market is priced not in ETH or a stablecoin, but in tokenised GME - the pool pairs GAMESTONK against the GameStop Robinhood stock token. The meme literally trades against the stock that created the meme. Nobody had to write a whitepaper; the pool is the whitepaper.

Act three: the reported airdrop

Observable on-chain: at the time of writing (30 August 2026), GAMESTONK sits in 2,579 of the 4,444 StonkBrokers token-bound wallets - 58% of the entire collection, including Brokers currently parked in the Anvil vault - holding a combined 154.8 million tokens, about 15.5% of the whole supply. The fingerprint is unmistakable: 2,196 of those wallets hold an identical 70,088.095 GAMESTONK, the uniform signature of a per-Broker airdrop, with smaller uniform amounts in hundreds more. A distribution targeted at Broker holders clearly happened; those figures come from checking every one of the 4,444 wallets directly against the chain.

Reported, not yet fully verified: community posts and a circulating Discord screenshot attribute the move to OxSimpleFarmer, the founder of StonkBrokers, saying he bought GAMESTONK and airdropped it to $STONKBROKER holders rather than creating the token himself. The attribution is credible and contemporary, but the full wallet-level reconstruction - distributor identity proven on-chain, exact amounts, and the recipient set matched against STONKBROKER ownership - has not been completed by anyone, this site included.

Why that caveat matters The token shows over two thousand holders. If a large airdrop accounts for much of that, the holder count measures the generosity of one distribution, not thousands of independent buying decisions. Until someone completes the wallet analysis - deployer, purchases, distributor, recipients, current concentration - treat holder numbers and the airdrop story alike as promising but unproven. When that analysis exists, this page will publish it, whichever way it cuts.

Act four: the vacuum

Verified by absence: as of writing there is no official GAMESTONK website, no official X account, and no dedicated Discord that anyone has identified. The token has not been declared an official StonkBrokers ecosystem token. There is no team, no roadmap, no promises - and therefore nobody to break them. For most tokens that vacuum is a death sentence; for a pure meme with this particular origin story, it is arguably the healthiest possible structure: whatever GAMESTONK becomes, its community will have built it.

That is why this site exists. Someone had to write the story down.

What would settle the open questions

If that comes back clean and broadly distributed, GAMESTONK's story upgrades from charming to genuinely strong. If it does not, this page will say so with the same bluntness.
